Decisions concerning Georgia and Georgian people made in Georgia, says Vice Prime Minister

Georgian Vice Prime Minister and State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies Mamuka Mdinaradze on Monday said that decisions regarding Georgia and the Georgian people are now independently made within the country.
In his remarks at a briefing held at the Government Administration, Mdinaradze noted that the country has reached an unprecedented level of sovereignty.
“We can always confidently say, based on the objective facts and current reality, that decisions concerning Georgia and the Georgian people are made in Georgia”, Mdinaradze said.
The Vice Prime Minister emphasised that the Government has laid a solid foundation for the nation’s self-determination, allowing leadership to speak confidently about its autonomy.
“This is something we can take pride in and say that today Georgia is more independent than ever before. Everything else that can be associated with progress - prosperity, peace, success, and membership in desired organisations, whether the European Union or others - will be ensured through competent governance guided by sound values. All of this will be the result of having secured independence first and foremost”, Mdinaradze concluded.
